Patrick Milling-Smith is a commercial, theater, film, immersive media and television Producer who is
co-founder / managing partner of international production company SMUGGLER, Ad Age’s 2017 production
company of the year, and co-founder of leading virtual reality experience studio, Here Be Dragons. Amidst
media and technology’s rapidly changing landscape, Patrick’s focus remains on storytelling and working with
first-class creative talent to create impactful work, that truly resonates, regardless of the medium or platform,
from Tony Award Winning Broadway plays, category-defining Virtual & Augmented reality, a Grammy-winning
album, to Cannes Lions, Grand Prix’s, Palme d’Ors, Webby’s, Clios, and Emmy-awarded storytelling.
Notable projects include the recently awarded Emmy for best commercial work with John Malkovich and
SquareSpace the international hit and 8 x Tony Award Winning Musical Once, festival favorite feature film
Greetings From Tim Buckley, hit Broadway show, Seminar, starring Alan Rickman and extended by Jeff
Goldblum, a mixed reality experience for FX’s Legion which premiered at San Diego’s Comic-Con in July, and
the stage adaptation of Robert Evans memoir The Kid Stays in the Picture, written and directed by Simon
McBurney, which had a sold-out limited engagement this March 2017 in London at the Royal Court Theatre to
critical acclaim and comes to Broadway for a limited run in September 2018. Patrick served on the Jury
Chairman of the Clios awards and on the board of The New York Theatre Workshop and currently sits on the
board of leading Immersive theatre company Punchdrunk International (Sleep No More).
Upcoming film projects include Wild Geese and Becket, adapted by Academy Award Winner William
Monahan (The Departed, Kingdom of Heaven).
